Ratafia Nouvelle Vague

A bold reinterpretation of the Champagne tradition.

We’re delighted to present our latest tasty nugget: Ratafia Nouvelle Vague.

This elegant reinterpretation of Champagne tradition is the symbol of a return to our roots. Embodying the very essence of the region’s craftsmanship and know-how, inscribed for decades in the customs of Champagne winemakers, it is also the reaffirmation of a form of innovative intuition dear to the House, for all those curious to experiment with new wines.

Although the history of ratafia and the techniques used to make it date back to the 13th century, we have chosen to take a fresh look at the ancestral methods used to make this wine.

Aged for 24 months in old oak barrels, followed by 12 months in cellars, our latest creation offers a natural fruitiness that makes it a wonderful wine to discover at the end of a meal.

It is just as enjoyable with light desserts such as fruit salad as it is with chocolate flavors. Ratafia Nouvelle Vague goes equally well with a blue-veined cheese platter, Gorgonzola or Roquefort.

Tasting notes: Its amber color has a light copper sheen, and its greedy, fruity nose reveals notes of candied fruit such as grapes, prunes and cherries, as well as aromas of orange peel, cocoa and almonds. The silky-smooth texture on the palate confirms flavors of morello cherry and prune.
